Cogniscribe was founded in September 2025 by Dr. Youssef Nakhla, a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in comprehensive psychological assessment across the lifespan. Dr. Nakhla has extensive experience evaluating cognitive, learning, and neurodevelopmental disorders in children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. His clinical expertise also extends to the assessment of mood disorders, personality disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and complex differential diagnostic presentations.

In addition to diagnostic evaluations, Dr. Nakhla provides pre-surgical psychological evaluations for individuals pursuing procedures such as spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and bariatric surgery.

Dr. Nakhla currently supervises and trains a registered psychological associate who provides similar assessment services under his supervision and clinical oversight.

Cogniscribe also provides therapy services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. However, therapy appointment availability is currently limited.
